Venue has been reserved! We are getting married on April 9th!! OMG, it’s totally right around the corner and I have so much to do, so much to choose, so much to decide on!!
I went to a baby shower a week ago at Wingfoot Lake and the building was lovely! I mean, it was a nice size, two fireplaces…I just loved it…so I got to thinking and a few days later, took my friend Amy and we were able to check out the bigger venue cause the door was unlocked. I was in love! Now I just needed to show Peter.
So we headed over there to check it out and he said he loved it too! We could do both the wedding and reception, it was close to the bathrooms for his grandparents, we were just so excited. Upon leaving, he was showing me the frisbee stuff because he’d been to the park before to play frisbee golf.
All the dates in April were open but he really, really likes April 9th. His birthday was the previous weekend, I didn’t want to do the following two weekends because of Anaya’s birthday and my ex and the final weekend was his dad’s birthday. Four is two twice and nine is three, three times…that was his explanation…I didn’t really care. Whatever day we got married was going to be an amazing and fantastic day. So, we got online, booked the venue and picked the actual wedding colors too!!! He had to pick a specific hex of green, lol…he’s super cute…
“I know two things about our wedding. It’s going to be very nice. And, it’s going to be very purple.” Oh, he is so so so right!!
He’s got some plans for our website name and I was trying to figure out a good hashtag for the wedding…
