So, each year, the company Peter works for holds a Thanksgiving Dinner for employees and their plus one…I was very much looking forward to attending but things had been weird at the job, per Peter, and I wasn’t sure what was really going on.
The day of the dinner, he wore a very casual outfit to work, said that’s what he was going to wear to dinner and so I dressed accordingly. Then, he comes home in a new-to-him suit he purchased that day and I now have to change my clothes….I wore my red dress and heels…here we are again, looking great, no pictures other than the ones taken by the company that I will probably never see, lol…
Dinner was good, met a few co-workers, a lot of nerdy people, lol…computer programmers and such…I mean, Peter is a bit nerdy too but I love it! Anyway, we never really get time to ourselves so we left after a bit and decided to stop at Beau’s and get a drink. It was nice…we got a little bit of food, a bottle of wine, Moscato, he let me pick, and we just enjoyed each other. I love moments like this when we can steal away a bit of time to ourselves. It was such a lovely evening…
